The analysis shows the use of NAND memory chips, possibly packaged by Huawei’s own HiSilicon division. This is a clear departure from the Mate 60 Pro, which reportedly uses South Korean chip stock. While the DRAM (memory) chips in the Pura 70 Pro are still supplied by South Korean company SK Hynix, the phone’s core is clearly more discrete. It has a native Kirin 9010 processor built on 7nm architecture.

“The use of domestic components is very high, definitely higher than in the Mate 60,” confirms iFixit’s Shahram Mokhtari, who conducted the teardown. The news coincided with the US Department of Commerce revoking Intel and Qualcomm’s export licenses to Huawei.
