California startup Rainmaker has closed a $6.3 million seed round. Investors include Long Journey Ventures, Champion Hill Ventures, Day One Ventures and business angels. This follows from Crunchbase data, which RB.RU drew attention to.

Rainmaker is a cloud seeding startup. It was created in 2023. The company’s solution increases rainfall to support agriculture, maintain water supply and stabilize hydroelectricity.
“We recognize that drought is an issue that must be addressed and we will work tirelessly to resolve it,” the engineers said.
The company says it uses advanced technology to generate rain, replenish water sources and solve drought problems sustainably and efficiently.
