Although the new product retains the basic features of the previous ROG Ally 2023, it promises a number of improvements.

ROG Ally X will have a 7-inch FullHD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The processor will be AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme. One of the most significant changes will be the increase in storage capacity to 1 TB SSD, which is twice as much as the previous model.

The device will cost $799, which is $100 more expensive than the previous “extreme” version of the ROG Ally. However, the price increase could be justified by an upgrade in memory capacity and possibly a larger battery; but the details have not been disclosed yet.
