In response, Europol confirmed the hack but denied that any internal data, including operational information, had been leaked. IntelBroker reportedly hacked the Europol Platform of Experts (EPE), which the agency uses to “share knowledge, best practices and de-identified crime data.”
However, since there is no operational information on the portal, the attacker’s words do not correspond to reality.
