Russian company JSC Rutek plans to start retail sales of the first domestic smartphone, R-Fon, in 2025. This was told by APPSIM director Vladimir Zykov to Hi-Tech Mail.

The presentation of R-Fon took place in December 2023, at the same time as the Russian Rosa Mobile operating system was presented, on which the smartphone will work.

In early 2024, the developer “R-Fon” began accepting pre-orders from corporate clients. The cost of “R-Fon” in retail is still unknown; will be announced in the near future.
