St. Petersburg authorities are looking for a company that will install more than 2,000 modern cameras in children’s and sports fields. This project is estimated at approximately 600 million rubles. The contractor will need to configure the cameras, connect them to a single network, and integrate them into the city’s video surveillance system.
The system will need to record violations such as smoking, vandalism and posting illegal advertising and transmit the information to a data processing centre. Entries will include photos, addresses and times of the events. However, the fate of this data after processing remains unclear.
