From May 23, metro and MCC passengers will be able to pay for travel with a Troika card or a Muscovite card immediately after remote top-up. The purchased ticket is recorded automatically at any of more than 4 thousand turnstiles.
All current operating systems are supported.
To better serve passengers, we are launching several projects. This is a remote top-up for Troika (instant payment for travel immediately after a remote top-up – note from the Moscow Agency). This is a virtual “Troika”, when you can use all types of transport without cards, just by phone. And you can use biometrics not only in the metro, but also on the MCD.

Owners of Troika have the right to release their virtual version in the Moscow Metro application. Passengers can sign up for most passes from the regular fare menu.
