Lee praises Google Calendar’s “unique approach” to eliminating the typical tabbed interface and taking advantage of more screen real estate. This, combined with expanding panels, allows users to see more information without feeling “overwhelmed.”
With the expansion of panels in Android 15 and the responsive library Material3, we can expect similar features to appear in two-column apps in the future.
