The first redesign, which was tested a little over a month ago, moved the video title, description, and comments to the side menu. Increased the size of recommended videos and their titles directly below the content being viewed. This version of the interface was strongly criticized by users, after which YouTube canceled the changes.

The negative reviews in the testing phase ultimately had no influence. It is known that in recent days YouTube once again presented a redesign and is now available only to some users; The publication suggested that the company is conducting one more test before fully introducing the new product.

It is difficult to talk about the reasons for the repeated redesign attempt, but according to experts, this may indicate the service’s desire to collect more data before making a final decision on introducing a design that users do not like.

On its social networks, YouTube describes the redesign as an “experiment” and the “consumers” of the resource continue to express their negative criticism.
