The SDEK service began to deliver packages located at the collection points. When the shipment is ready for pickup, the customer will receive an SMS notification. The recipient must present a passport.

Previously, only those customers who received a receipt notification before the technical failure could receive the package.

SDEK began to issue and issue all packages located at the collection point.

SDEK technical support clarified to VKontakte users that due to the suspension of cargo movement from sorting centers, collection points are delivering those packages that they managed to receive before the failure.

Users of the service do not understand how to know if a package is currently at the collection point or not, if the tracking systems are not working and the notification did not arrive before the failure. Technical support responded that they should send a new notification for such shipments.

“We understand that patience is already running out and, as a human being, we say thank you that they generally gave it to us. We do not yet have an exact timeline for the complete restoration of all systems. I’m sorry if the information in the posts gave reason to think so. The full restoration continues, we are trying to start the main processes as soon as possible,” SDEK responded to one of the clients.

The next step SDEK plans to launch is the ability to ship and move packages stored in warehouses.

The company stopped issuing and shipping packages at its collection points on May 26 due to a technical problem. SDEK cited a malfunction in computing power as the cause of the problem.

On the night of May 28, the international hacker group Head Mare claimed responsibility for disruptions to SDEK’s work.

On May 29, the service announced a partial restoration of the site.
