Chinese banks and companies may be hit by US sanctions for cooperating with the Russian Federation. This was reported by TASS with reference to the first deputy secretary of state, Kurt Campbell.

The State Department did not rule out introducing sanctions against companies and banks that systematically provide support to Russia and also work to circumvent anti-Russian sanctions.

Earlier it became known that the G7 countries and the European Union are discussing the introduction of sanctions against companies that use the Russian analogue of SWIFT, the financial message transmission system of the Bank of Russia.
