Aptoida popular alternative to the Play Store on Android, finally coming to iOS thanks to the European Union Digital Markets Act, which, among other things, obliges Apple to allow third-party applications on its operating systems. The purpose of this more limited release is track responses and opinions of early users. Aptoide is expected to be available like any other third-party app store in the future.
Additionally, at least for now, the aforementioned app store will have a limited number of games; there are seven in total, including some classic games such as solitaire or mahjong. They hope to add more apps soon. In fact they confirmed Edge that dozens of developers are interested in publishing their apps on Aptoide, probably due to the better conditions it offers compared to Apple and its App Store.
Aptoide also wants users to not have to pay for it. The 50 cents Apple asks for every first annual download through subscriptions imposed by developers, so the cost is included in the rate that companies who want to publish their apps on their app store must pay.
