To create a three-dimensional model, experts used a handheld structured light scanner for the objects and laser scanning for the room geometry. A camera was used to convey the color of the surfaces. At the same time, the main difficulties arose due to unusual surfaces and lack of light due to possible damage to monuments.

Evgeniy Burnaev, Director of the Skoltech Artificial Intelligence Center and leading researcher at AIRI, noted that the resulting 3D model is processed with special algorithms to achieve accuracy and realistic texture.
