Greenbox has settled 12 food poisoning lawsuits. The total amount of the settlement agreements amounted to 414 thousand rubles, writes Fontanka.
In total, 18 lawsuits were filed against Greenbox, five of which are pending in court.
On September 9, 2023, it became known about the mass poisoning of Greenbox prepared foods. 270 cases of poisoning were recorded, in several dozen of them the salmonella bacteria was detected in the victims.
In September 2023, Smart Retail LLC (Samokata legal entity) was fined 20,000 rubles for mass poisoning with Greenbox food.
Greenox began accepting claims in October 2023. In each lawsuit, the claims arise from an order of a Greenbox spinach waffle with egg, ham, and hollandaise sauce.
