The expert emphasized that the real danger is blood-borne infectious diseases. You can contract bacterial infections and, worst of all, HIV.

According to Umnov, a tattoo is a wound that heals within two months. And when a needle comes into contact with the skin, there is no guarantee that even in an expensive facility they will not save on sterilization equipment, let alone questionable places.

There may be particles of the previous client’s blood on the needle. And infection can also occur.

Even expensive salons can save on sterilization equipment, so blood particles from previous clients or microorganisms that can cause infection may remain on the needles. It is better not to get a tattoo at all, otherwise you may really regret it,” Umnov warned.
