Unexpectedly, iPhone XR and iPhone SE (2020) were included in the list of compatible models despite their age. These devices probably won’t be able to take full advantage of all the new neural network features planned for iOS 18.
However, Apple’s decision will please iPhone Xs/Xs Max and iPhone XR owners, who will receive the sixth version of iOS since its launch in 2018.
While the focus at WWDC will be on artificial intelligence, iOS 18 will offer many other innovations. However, it is worth noting that although older iPhone models are compatible with the new operating system, they may not receive all the artificial intelligence-supported features.
