The investigation opened five more criminal cases against the founder of the Like Center, Ayaz Shabutdinov. According to the new charges, the businessman faces a sentence of up to ten years in prison. Shabutdinov was arrested in November 2023 and remains in a pre-trial detention center for more than six months.

Five more criminal cases have been opened against businessman Ayaz Shabutdinov, the penalties for which include prison terms of up to ten years. TASS writes about this with reference to the investigator’s statement before the Tagansky court in Moscow.
In addition to the new cases, Shabutdinov is accused of committing 75 serious crimes, the investigator noted.
Ayaz Shabutdinov was detained in November 2023. According to investigators, Shabutdinov and his accomplices, on behalf of controlled companies, including Like Center, sold courses, trainings and webinars, giving clients “false hope of creating a successful business and receive excessive income. Shabutdinov did not admit guilt.
In April, the court seized the property of Shabutdinov and his colleague, the director of the Like Center Vasily Alekseev, for a total amount of 100 million rubles.
