Demand for specialists in the tourism and hospitality industry in Russia increased by 31% compared to 2023, and average salaries in the industry increased by 19%. The share of job offers in this area accounted for 3.8% of all vacancies on the Avito Work platform.

Thus, the sector occupies sixth place in terms of the number of active vacancies, reports TASS citing analysts of job search services.
Researchers point out that the most in-demand positions in the industry are:
- travel agent (increase in the number of vacancies – 2.2 times or +124%, average monthly remuneration – 40-90 thousand rubles),
- domestic worker (growth of 2.1 times or +112%, average remuneration: 40-80 thousand rubles),
- hostess (growth 1.8 times or +86%, remuneration – 70-150 thousand rubles).
Next in popularity among employers are kitchen workers (1.8-fold increase or +82%) and waiters (1.6-fold increase or +64%).
