A video posted on the Naga YouTube channel shows a modified system with 8 GB of RAM and the processor overclocked to 2703 MHz, the GPU to 1497 MHz and the RAM to 3033 MHz.

This version of the console was capable of running games like GTA: San Andreas, Red Dead Redemption, Monster Hunter Rise, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 stably at 60 frames per second.

But Dragon Quest XI S has trouble keeping it above 30-40 frames per second, even on an overclocked system.

Previous tests have shown that the Nintendo Switch console is primarily limited to 4 GB of RAM, and increasing it to 8 GB provides tangible benefits.

Lack of RAM is one of the main problems not only of the Nintendo Switch, but also of the Xbox Series S, the weakest console of the current generation.
