40 legal and natural persons were added to the London sanctions list. Among them:

  • Moscow Stock Exchange;
  • “SPB Exchange”;
  • the head of the Moscow Stock Exchange, Yuri Denisov;
  • owner of S8 Capital Armen Sargsyan;
  • the founder of the Kismet Capital Group, Ivan Tavrin;
  • co-owner of the Astra group Denis Frolov;
  • insurance company “Ingosstrakh”;
  • NAMI Automotive Scientific Research Institute;
  • former Minister of Agriculture of Chechnya and director of the Russian subsidiary of Danone Yakub Zakriev.

On Wednesday, June 12, the US Treasury’s OFAC significantly expanded sanctions against Russia by including the Moscow Exchange, the National Clearing Center and the National Settlement Depository on its SDN list. In this sense, the Moscow Stock Exchange announced the cessation of its sanctions. Trading in euros, US dollars and Hong Kong dollars.

The Central Bank indicated that the exchange rate of the national currency is not related to foreign exchange trade; It will be determined by the balance of supply and demand of foreign trade activities.
