The court decided to jointly collect from 14 defendants 19.74 billion rubles and 100% of the shares of the Mishkinsky plant (Mishkinsky Product LLC) in favor of the state, as well as collect a state tax in the amount of 900 thousand rubles. . The decision is subject to immediate execution, but can be appealed, the lawyers said.

The defendants in the case are former State Duma deputy Vadim Belousov, Irina Belousova, Margarita Butakova, as well as the former governor of the Chelyabinsk region Mikhail Yurevich and his father Valery Yurevich.

The hearings were held behind closed doors.

The Prosecutor General’s Office filed a lawsuit against the former owners of Makfa in November 2023. According to the prosecutor’s office, the businessmen corruptly acquired dividends, profits and loans worth 18.171 million rubles. In December, the prosecutor’s office increased the amount of claims to 19.7 billion rubles.

In May last year, the court transferred Makfu to state ownership. The total value of assets is estimated at 100 trillion rubles, Kommersant reports.
