Now available on iOS and Android, the Yahoo News app uses artificial intelligence to create personalized news feeds based on users’ interests. Key features include “Highlights,” which provides quick summaries of articles, and “Top News,” which highlights the most relevant news. Users can customize the app by blocking articles with certain keywords or filtering publishers.
In a nod to Artifact’s capabilities, Yahoo News allows users to flag clickbait headlines to be rewritten by AI.
Additionally, Yahoo has updated its Yahoo News homepage with a new layout that highlights top stories, personalized recommendations, and “trending” topics.
