Doctors in Russia will begin to make diagnoses based on photographs and data from social networks, RIA Novosti writes.

According to NTI Healthnet market expert Dr. Sergei Chudakov, the development of such a service is underway and programs have been created that evaluate a person’s health status based on the face in the photo with an accuracy of 80%. . The technology will be put into practice in 2030.

Thanks to artificial intelligence, the cost of diagnosis will be reduced. The patient will only need to go to the service, take a selfie, describe the symptoms and receive diagnostic options and recommendations.

“And the doctor, as a decision-maker, will be a slightly more expensive service than a digital service,” Chudakov explained.

The doctor also talked about the possibility of diagnosing the disease based on the patient’s behavior on social networks.

“A person who has some kind of illness that they don’t even know about will behave accordingly on social media. He has some unpleasant sensations in the body, he will try to resolve them, because of these sensations the person is usually restless, irritated, ”said Chudakov.

The expert added that the patient will write posts about how he feels, search for information, consult with friends on social networks and discuss home remedies that will help make the diagnosis.

Make AI learn and improve: Choose online courses from the machine learning course catalog.

“When you combine this whole profile, strangely enough, you can assume a diagnosis based on it,” Chudakov said.
