Apple has increased the performance of the Neural Engine coprocessor in the A17 Pro chip, which is installed in the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, by 25%.

Geekbench gives a Neural Engine score of 6,249 on iOS 17.5.1 and a score of 7,816 on iOS 18.

The huge jump performance may be due to the Core ML platformer update in iOS 18. Additionally, it is possible that the Neural Engine is not running at full capacity on iOS 17, unlike iOS 18.
