As Google prepares to release Android 13, the latest version of the operating system, betas for testing the system are already revealing some of its features. This includes the new Android easter egg now coming with the beta 3.3 update. And it’s an emoji festival!

Activating the Easter egg, as usual, occurs by pressing the Android version several times in the device’s properties list in the settings. Doing so will cause an analog clock to appear on the Android 13 screen. The user then sharply sets the clock to 1 o’clock i.e. 13 o’clock.

Placing the watch in this position causes the number 13 to appear in place of the hands, and the background changes to an emoji explosion. The user can then tap the screen to change the background emojis in a wide variety of possibilities.

Android fans have long known that each version of the system comes with a different easter egg. In some situations, such as Android 12, the easter egg can also be a useful tool. Therefore, although functional, we still do not know if the Android 13 easter egg is already complete or if more features can be added until the final version of the system.
