Researchers at a private research university in Japan and Tokyo startup Carelogy have developed an app that recognizes a cat’s emotions. Reuters talked about this.
The application is equipped with a neural network based on machine learning. It helps you know if your cat is in pain. The service was trained on 6 thousand photographs with feline emotions.
Over the past year, the app has been used more than 230,000 times and is 95% accurate.
According to scientific data, more than 70% of cats in old age suffer from arthritis and experience pain, but do not express it. Because of this, only 2% of cats receive proper treatment.
