Sberbank has stopped accepting new applications for preferential mortgages for primary housing under the state program. This was reported to Kommersant at the bank.
The preferential mortgage program was suspended a week before its official end. The Bank explained this by the abnormally high demand for supply amid the flow of clients from other banks.
In addition, Sberbank suspended the issuance of preferential IT mortgages within the framework of the state program. The limit has been exhausted, the broadcast will resume when a new limit is assigned.
Previously, Rossiya Bank, Ak Bars, MTS Bank and Promsvyazbank stopped accepting applications for preferential mortgages for new buildings.
