Musk noted that such a terminal is suitable for the road, as its dimensions are approximately equal to a 14-inch MacBook. This device fits easily into a backpack and can be used on the go. For comparison, the dimensions of the fixed terminals of the Starlink satellite system are 30 x 50 cm.

It is stated that Starlink Mini supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax and 3×3 MiMO in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands) and can create a network of several terminals. Rumor has it that compact “travel” Starlink Mini terminals should deliver maximum speeds of up to 100 Mbps and 23 ms latency.

The cost of these devices was not disclosed, but Musk hinted that such dishes would cost half as much as larger ones.
