A bill prohibiting discrimination against Russian app developers in the App Store has been submitted to the State Duma. The document was published on the legal information portal.

The bill requires the Russian app store RuStore to be pre-installed on Apple devices and ensure that payments are made through it.

The State Duma noted that the version of RuStore for iOS has already been developed and is ready for implementation in the operating system.

If the bill is passed, it will go into effect on September 1, 2025.
