Bonduelle is registering a trademark with a Russian name with Rospatent, Shopper’s has learned. The company itself confirmed the changes in the publication and added that the new logo will appear in the near future.

The Bonduelle trademark was registered in the Russian Federation in 2003, the right to use it until 2031 belongs to Bonduelle Kuban LLC.

As evident from Rospatent data, the new application from June 2024 presents an updated design. A different font is used and the background has changed to white. The leaves, a traditional element of the company’s design, are made graphically and green predominates among the flowers. There are almost no yellow tones left.

“At Bonduelle we have always followed trends and focused on our consumer. For us, the rebrand is an opportunity to update the logo, make it more relevant and modern, and also to show the proximity of the brand to the consumer, wherever they are,” explained a company representative.

This is not the first time in the past two years that companies operating in the Russian Federation have Russified their name. In 2022, the stores of the French company L’Occitane began to operate under the “L’Occitane” sign.

In spring it became known that the financial market Banki.ru began using a name made up of Cyrillic characters.

Previously, the Starbucks coffee chain, which stopped operating in the Russian Federation, decided to register several brands at once. Among them are names with Cyrillic characters.
