Intel, represented by its representative, denied inside information about the delay in deliveries of Lunar Lake and the faster launch of Arrow Lake desktop processors, which were due to be released in mid-autumn. The company claims that the rumors are not true and that Lunar Lake deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter, that is, from July to September.
At the same time, Intel did not announce at the show a list of SKUs, which are the branding of devices (notebooks) that will receive Lunar Lake. And it is not clear what the third quarter device deliveries mean; whether it is supply for PC production or the sale of both PCs and chips as components.
Intel’s public reports state that “Intel’s next Arrow Lake desktop processor will be available in October.” And here the emphasis is on sales. Because, as a rule, several months pass from the delivery of components to production to the launch of finished products on the market.
If Lunar Lake only starts shipping in the third quarter and Arrow Lake starts shipping in October, the desktop model could actually outpace the mobile model.
