Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that Apple will begin formal development of the new operating system in 2025.
Code names of new OS:
• iOS 19: luck
• macOS 16: Welcome
• watchOS 12: Nepali
• VisionOS 3: Discovery
It seems that this is too early, because even iOS 18 has not yet officially released. However, Gurman notes that this is normal. Cupertino is already working on new devices, and they need to provide software.
