The court has recovered 10 billion rubles from the American Google International LLC in favor of the bankruptcy estate of Google LLC. Prime writes about this.
The money was recovered at the request of the bankruptcy trustee of Google LLC, a subsidiary of Google, which filed for bankruptcy in October 2023.
Transactions on the transfer of dividends to Google’s Russian subsidiary in the amount of 9.5 billion rubles, as well as the transfer of taxes on these dividends to the budget (500 million rubles) were declared illegal.
In April 2024, it was decided to extend the bankruptcy proceedings of Google LLC. The next report by the bankruptcy trustee Valery Talyarovsky is due in October 2024.
