Players are reporting that they are unable to connect online, log into their accounts, or use the digital PS Store.
According to the Downdetector service, the first complaints about problems with Sony’s online platforms began to arrive around 17:00 Moscow time.
Within two hours, the number of crash reports had reached nearly 2,000. The issues have been partially resolved, but many users continue to have difficulty accessing PlayStation Network and PS Store.
Players are also reporting that they are unable to launch applications from the PS Store. Sony has not yet made any official comments on the causes of the failure and the timing of a full restoration of services.
