Google, OpenAI and Apple allow bots to be blocked using a special file, but not all companies follow these rules: many deliberately ignore them and change their algorithms to avoid detection.
To solve this problem, Cloudflare analyzed crawler traffic and developed automatic crawler detection models that take into account several factors, including bots’ attempts to mimic the actions of a human using a web browser.
In addition, the service specialists have created a special form that allows you to report suspicious bots and scanners. Based on the data received, Cloudflare will manually blacklist AI bots.
