This feature may come to users with the Android 15 update.
A feature known as “Charge Limit” has been discovered in the code of the second beta of Android 15 for OnePlus. It will not be enabled by default.
Oxygen OS will notify users when their device has been connected to a network for an extended period of time. The notification states that this feature will help “slow down battery aging.”
It is worth noting that the novelty differs from the Optimized Charging feature already present on OnePlus devices. The latter also limits the charge to 80%, but then tops up the remaining 20% 100 minutes before the user turns off the device.
