BCC usually grows slowly and rarely spreads to other organs. Most types of BCC are treatable, but aggressive forms can lead to serious complications.

Based on the obtained data, scientists created an algorithm that helps to distinguish less dangerous forms of BCC from aggressive ones.

The study found that the algorithm effectively identified most high-risk BCC cases.
