Authoritative journalist Mark Gurman shared new information about upcoming Apple devices.

According to him, the company is preparing a desktop robot with built-in Apple Intelligence. This will be a completely new category for the Cupertino company in the home appliances segment.

This will likely be some kind of HomePod with a display. The device will be based on robotics. The idea, Gurman says, is that the display will mimic head movements, such as a person nodding during a FaceTime session. It will also have features that accurately hide one person in a crowd during a video call.

However, the journalist does not believe that Apple will release a new version of HomePod in the coming years. [9to5]
