Vladimir Potanin’s Interros Capital reduced its stake in Atomize from 35% to 2%. The 33% that belonged to the company was transferred to the structure of TKS Holding – T-Projects LLC (formerly Tinkoff Projects). In early March, Atomize was included in the US sanctions list.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, which Interfax drew attention to, the remaining 65% of the structure is still owned by Cyprus Tokentrust Holding Limited.

In March 2024, Washington announced another sanctions list, which included Atomize, which operates a platform for the issuance and circulation of digital financial assets. Tokentrust Holding Limited was also included in the US SDN list. Interros, like Vladimir Potanin, has been under sanctions since 2022.

MCPJSC TCS Holding became the new parent company of T-Bank (formerly Tinkoff) following the re-domiciliation of TCS Group from Cyprus to the Russian Federation. Vladimir Potanin is a key shareholder.

Atomize was the first platform to receive registration from the Bank of Russia as an operator of an information system for the issuance of digital financial assets.

At the end of 2023, Atomize reported a loss under the RAS of 428.9 million rubles, compared to a loss of 261.9 million rubles in 2022. Revenue increased from 16 million rubles in 2022 to 103 million rubles in 2023.
