The new Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is now available in Brazil starting this Wednesday (17). The foldable mobile phone has an even larger external screen that covers almost the entire front and promises to compete head-to-head with traditional models.

The Razr 50 Ultra stands out by bringing updated hardware, a new set of cameras, and artificial intelligence (AI) with Moto AI, but its biggest draw is the external display with very thin bezels.

The previous 3.6″ (1056 x 1066p) size is now 4″ (1272 x 1080p) and retains Gorilla Glass Victus protection. This gives you more space to access information and even check social networks without opening them. Add widgets, view notifications, take photos using the screen as a mirror, use Google Gemini and much more.

The main display is 6.9 inches and features pOLED and LTPO technologies (variable refresh rate from 1 to 165 Hz) and Full HD+ resolution (2640 X 1080p). The hinge system has also been updated and is now more robust. Include, The foldable screen has an almost imperceptible crease in the middle.

New telephoto camera

The Razr 50 Ultra’s big new feature is its new telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The company has two main sensors on this model, both with a resolution of 50MP. As for selfies, the camera has a 32MP one.

In addition, thanks to the foldable screen, you can prop up the mobile phone from different angles to take photos and videos. Max Foto Pro, which promises to improve dynamic range and brighten images with intelligent stabilization, brings AI features such as autofocus tracking, Action Shot for faster photos, and others.

Among other features, the new foldable device has an IPX8 certification against water and supports a 4,000mAh battery and a 45W charger. The company ships a 68W charger in the box. The promise here is to fully charge the device in less than an hour.

Razr 50 Ultra usability

Starting this Wednesday (17), Motorola will begin selling its foldable device in physical stores, online, retail outlets and carriers. The recommended price of the device is R$ 7,999.

At the global announcement, the company also introduced the traditional Razr 50, which inherits the design of last year’s Ultra model. It also introduced the new smart tracking device Moto Tag. Both products are not yet available in Brazil.
