One of the key projects is the Sakhalintech international campus, which will open in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in 2026. According to the head of VEB. RF Igor Shuvalov, the campus will become an educational and scientific center of international level, training scientists and engineers in various innovative fields.
The construction of the campus is carried out within the framework of the national project “Science and Universities”. It is planned to open educational, research and laboratory buildings, dormitories, a congress hall, public and business areas in the center of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. After completion of construction, the campus will accommodate up to 1.5 thousand people, which will contribute to the development of the educational infrastructure of the region.
