The new product has a record efficiency rating of 5 miles per kilowatt-hour, meaning it consumes less energy than most electric vehicles on the market while offering a long range of 420 miles.
The Air Pure becomes the most affordable option in the Lucid range, priced at $69,900. The new version’s battery capacity has been reduced from 88 kWh to 84 kWh. The car also features heat pump technology, first used in the expensive Sapphire model.
In addition to its high energy efficiency, the Air Pure is equipped with the DreamDrive Premium driver assistance system, which includes 3D view cameras and a blind spot monitor. The performance of the infotainment system has also been improved thanks to the new generation control unit.
The model is planned to be launched at the end of 2024.
