The first AI ballet was presented in Russia. The premiere took place at the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk theatre. Using neural networks, the script and choreography were refined, sketches of scenery and costumes were generated, and musical parts were created.

The premiere of the first ballet in Russia created and performed using artificial intelligence technologies took place in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the press service of Sberbank reported.
GigaChat’s AI perfected the choreography and script, Kandinsky’s neural network generated the set and costumes, and SymFormer created the musical parts in the style of modern classical music.
The ballet “Illumination” was performed by artists of the St. Petersburg Mikhailovsky Theatre and the Sakhalin Philharmonic Dialogue Theatre. The ballet was directed by Honored Artist of Russia Kirill Ermolenko.
