The Ministry of Digital Development has extended state accreditation to 18,000 Russian IT companies. 13,000 companies on the list receive government benefits. About 2,000 companies were excluded from the list of accredited companies because they did not apply for confirmation of accreditation.

18,000 Russian IT companies have extended their state accreditation, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development announced.

Of these 18,000 companies, more than 13,000 receive tax benefits and more than 5,000 are organizations that provided data on the share of revenue from IT activities and salary levels.

Around 2,000 organisations did not apply to renew their accreditation and were therefore excluded from the list of accredited IT companies.

Previously, the Ministry of Digital Development took the initiative to deny accreditation to companies with foreign ownership of more than 50%.
