The Alice smart speaker, like any product in the world, can be hacked, said Dmitry Masyuk, head of Yandex search and advertising technology business group. At the same time, according to the top manager, the voice assistant has a very high level of security.

“Security is our number one priority,” Masyuk was quoted as saying by RIA. A Yandex representative said Alice has an independent security team that looks for product security issues and fixes them every day.
Masyuk also said that Yandex attracts third-party companies to independently evaluate the operation of its services and try to hack them.
“We believe that our level of security is high, very high, and our users have nothing to worry about,” added the company’s CEO.
Earlier, the head of Yandex’s search and advertising technologies business group said that the company’s voice assistant is locked “at an ironclad level” with listening abilities.
