A power bank explodes in a school in Milan, set fire to a backpack and generate various smoke. Smoke that was then inhaled by some of the students present in the class. It happened to theVespucci hotel institute from Milan.

The ordinary portable battery for charging smartphones overheated, causing the explosion. A very rare accident, but that can happen if the product is faulty or of poor quality. Two of the students, both fifteen, were transported to hospital to diagnose possible intoxication. In total, the doctors visited eight other people, seven students and one teacher on site. Fortunately for them, no further checks were necessary.

As if that wasn’t enough, the stress of the accident and the evacuation of all classes at the institute caused another student to become ill: a 17-year-old girl who suffers from epileptic disorders and had a severe anxiety crisis. Also for her the red code for an urgent check already San Raffaele
