As Kommersant found out, due to the problems with electricity in the Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov Region, local companies are forced to bear the cost of equipment for autonomous power supply.

The volume of orders for diesel generators has increased by about five times, says Denis Prosolov, a Krasnodar businessman who supplies such generators.

The main customers of the company are hotels, grocery stores and various small workshops. They usually order appliances with a capacity of 30 to 50 kW, explains the source of the publication.

The cost of a Chinese generator, including installation, is 600-700 thousand rubles. At the same time, there are not enough specialists in the region to install and maintain such equipment, explains Dmitry Konyaev from Smart Energy. According to him, the situation is complicated by the fact that it takes two to three weeks for the generators to arrive from Moscow.

Demand for solar panel installation has tripled over the past week, says Nikolai Popov, founder of Solarprofit, a company that installs autonomous and backup power supply systems.

On July 16, one of the power units of the Rostov nuclear power plant, the largest in the south of the country, shut down due to a turbogenerator failure. After that, millions of Russians living in the region were left without electricity.
