Kick-sharing companies have launched their own analogue of the State Traffic Inspectorate to record the expansion of traffic regulations when using electric scooters.
MTS Yurent employs 2,500 people in 30 cities to do this. Inside the company, they are called “security consultants.” They work in the most popular places: in parks, on embankments, and near the metro.
Consultants identify common traffic violations and service rules: driving in pairs, not hurrying at pedestrian crossings and illegal parking. In total, about 150 thousand fines have been issued throughout Russia since the beginning of the 2024 season. At the same time, a third of them are issued with the help of safety consultants.

Similar employees recording violations by scooter riders have appeared in Yandex Go. They work in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
