The author of the study, Igor Vallosek, emphasizes that the initial cooling efficiency decreases when the peak temperature exceeds 100 degrees Celsius. This problem is associated with low-quality thermal pastes, which, despite promising technical characteristics, turn out to be ineffective in real conditions. These pastes have problems with gas extraction, hardening and “pumping out”, which significantly reduces their effectiveness.

During the detailed analysis of the new Manli GeForce RTX 4080 16GB Gallardo, Vallosek found that the factory paste is too thin and does not contain high-quality heat-conducting particles. Obviously, this design is only intended to work well at the initial stage.

More detailed information and a video recording of the analysis are available on the Igor’s Lab website.
