99% of gamers see ads in video games. Most of them believe that they should be native. This is according to a joint study by the IOM “Anketologist” and RE:source. RB.RU has learned the results.

Almost 80% agree that developers should include advertising in video games to financially support the project. However, according to some respondents, they should warn users about the presence of advertising before they buy.

85% of respondents say that advertising can influence the perceived quality of a video game. Players notice the most advertising in World of Tanks – 25%, FIFA – 19%, GTA – 15%, Call of Duty – 11% and PUBG – 10%.

However, only 46% of gamers are willing to buy a paid version of a video game to avoid seeing ads.

The survey was conducted from July 10 to July 17, 2024. It involved 1.1 thousand Russians over the age of 18 who played video games in their free time.
